Got up and put on rain-soaked clothes. Struck my tent and set off.
The path at the beginning was narrow and wet. No chance dry my boots. So I went through all my dry socks trying kt keepy feet dry. I still end up with some tender spots.
And then I started the roller coaster.
It was six climbes of several hundred feet folllowed by six descents. Not as bad as people made it sound.
I ended for the night at Bear's Den Hostel, owned by the ATC and run by the PATC.
