Day 66 June 11 to Front Royal Terrapin station hostel

Thunderstorms passed through last night.  But in the morning there was only the sound of drops from the trees.   I got an early start because it would be a 23 mile day.

I left my campsite by the shelter and walked up the .2 mile side trail to the AT. It was a very foggy morning.

I saw another new wildflower

I passed biologist tracking a peregrine falcon restablishment project

I saw my second bear of the trip.   Can you see him?

And there was some nice views after the fog burned off.

Distance (not including the .5 mile walk to the Hostel.  22.7 miles

Total distance :  960
