Day 38 May 14 to Beyond Buzzard Rock

I got up at 6:00 am showered and left the hostel.  I couldn't resist a breakfast of eggs toast, country ham and biscuits and gravy and the local greasy spoon.  I set out at 7:20.  The weather was cool, bright and sunny.  But I knew it would be a long day. It would be 20 miles and climb over 3000 ft.  I didn't finish until 8:00 pm.  But I had an hour for lunch with a short nap and nap at 3:00 pm not to mention a five minute break about every hour.  I felt fine at the end of the day.  Just a good kind of tired.

Saw some rhododendrons in bloom.
