I cooked while sitting in my tent
In spite of the rain I got some good views.
I saw a little history.
The moutain laurel are blooming.
The Laurel Falls at Denis Cove we're worth the long hike down to the river. (Lunch was short because of the rain )
I saw my first American Chestnut!
Had supper by Lake Watauga. Saw Neon, who had just resupplied in Hampton TN
And walked the last mile and a half along the shore.
