Day 98 July 13 to Schaghticoke campsite

I broke camp early at Nuclear Lake since my camp spot might have been totally approved by the rangers. 

That morning, I crossed a number of long boardwalks.

Later, I crossed from New York to Connecticut.

After passing Wiley Shelter and Ten Mile Shelter, I dropped down to the  beautiful stream called 10 Mile River.

After climbing back up to the ridge, I caught a view of the Schaghticoke  reservation.

I made it to Schagticoke campsite, but decided to camp at the brook where the AT crossed. I pitched my tent. Half an hour later there was a huge thunderstorm and a downpour.
