After my zero day in Killington VT at the Mountain Meadow Lodge, I took off on a morning that promised rain. And it kept its promise. While is was still cool I wore my rain jacket. But once it warmed up and I starting sweating, I was as wet inside the jacket as out. So I took off the jacket. It dries fast so even if I put it on wet I can still say warm it it gets cold.
The new shoes I bought gave me some blisters. We'll see if that it's just because my feet aren't used to them.
That evening I cut my planned hike a bit short to stay at the Lookout ... a private cabin open to hikers.
It rained. So we and the others stayed dry.
